Dickson has experience in IT strategic planning, budgeting, IT infrastructure, enterprise applications solutions and services for both business and technology customers. He has a passion for innovating cost-effective solutions to exceed customer expectations. He enjoys envisioning and aligning business strategies, developing solution architecture, programmes and plans. He has been directly involved in the successful deployment of two different core banking applications, in three institutions with different e-banking solutions. Dickson is exceptional at resolving chronic IT issues from their root causes. His insight and foresight in the technology space is divine. He is endowed with great leadership skills and is an excellent team player. He establishes strong working relationships easily and enjoys nurturing innovation that will aid in realizing the “art of the impossible”. He worked in Ecobank, Ghana for 13 years in various capacities in the IT department. In May 2017, he was appointed Head of Information technology for GHL BANK LTD (Ghana) where he built a world class IT infrastructure from ground zero and deployed the Core banking application, e-channels (ATMs, VISA cards, Mobile banking app and internet banking) all within 16 months. He is currently an IT Operations Manager after the acquisition of GHL Bank by First National Bank, Ghana. In the last 2 years, he has focused on cloud technologies with some AWS certifications to show for his expertise.
